Being a Good Boss to Myself | Liron’s Podcast Episode 133

In this episode I’m discussing what it means to be a good boss to yourself, and to work efficiently and effectively.

I’m also discussing my revolutionary task-setting plans for October 2020.

Here are the cliff notes:

  1. Important & essential tasks VS “busy work” – the importance of doing meaningful work that helps build a SYSTEM of income and value delivery.
  2. Balance between being overly “task-oriented” and being completely lazy – it’s important to remember the number of tasks checked is not always the end-all be-all, and happiness also plays a part.
  3. Acknowledging and being grateful for what you already finished, rather than feeling down for all the things you haven’t gotten to yet.
  4. My October 2020 plan – focusing on the main PILLARS of my work, rather than on a huge list of numbered tasks. I want to allow myself more depth and enjoyment of every individual task.

I hope you found this one enjoyable and perhaps even encouraging!

I’ll keep you updated on how I like the new method of task-management.

And we’ll talk again soon 😊🙏🏼

My Artistic Goals for 2020 | Liron’s Podcast Episode 104

In this episode I’m sharing with you my artistic goals for 2020!

Here’s a quick list of them (the order is very fluid haha):

  1. Improve the quality of my paintings
  2. Improve my teaching skills
  3. Sell a painting for a PREMIUM price
  4. Innovation
  5. New and BETTER products

The Quality of My Art

I think at the heart of this is my art. This is the basis for everything.

It’s what charges me up with energy and what I enjoy doing the most. If I want to continue providing value for people in the long run, I HAVE TO work on my art.

Then comes the teaching, selling and so on…

A Premium Watercolor Course for FREE

Another thing that’s really been on my mind is creating an amazing product and giving it away for completely free.

Update: I’ve brainstormed several ideas and I think I’ll go with Simplifying in Watercolor.

I want to, once and for all, solve this mystery for people.

I see many struggle with this concept of how to simplify, reduce clutter and paint what matters.

So let me know if you think that’s a good topic.

I hope you enjoyed this episode. If you want to reach out – you know where to find me 😉

I hope to hear from you!

Art Business Plans for August 2019 – What it Takes to Attain Success | Liron’s Podcast Episode 86

In this episode I want to show you what it takes to build a successful business or brand around you and your art, and give you hope that with hard work – it is possible!

Art Business Plans for August 2019

I discuss goals and tasks that fall under the following categories:

  • Art & painting
  • Business & Products
  • Communication
  • Routine & Health
  • Financial

Every one of these is important and represents an important aspect of my work.

How I Set Goals and Tasks for my Art Business

I discussed this in a previous daily podcast episode more in depth, but the way I treat this is by:

  1. Setting yearly (and 5-year) vision, goals and plans
  2. Using these to create monthly tasks
  3. Using these to create daily tasks

This ensures I always know what I’m doing.

No Artist Corner

I’m doing an experiment this month, turning the podcast into something that’s easier and more natural for me to post.

So I’m taking a more free-flow approach, so no Artist Corner for now.
