swiss snow

Large watercolor painting titled "Swiss Snow", by artist Liron Yanconsky. The painting was commissioned by an art collector.

My largest work to date, at 1 x 2.5 meters (about 40″x100″), commissioned by a private client.

It has been a strong desire of mine to paint BIG and IMPRESSIVE pieces, and this work allowed me to run wild and do just that, and with a fantastic painting subject.

Ponte vecchio

Large watercolor painting titled "Ponte Vecchio", by artist Liron Yanconsky. The painting features the fantastic Florence scene in a panoramic feeling fashion.

My first exploration of painting large watercolors, featuring a fantastic scene of Ponte Vecchio, Florence.

This piece demanded a variety of unique work processes, techniques and (quite frankly) tricks in order to complete.

It is rare to see large watercolors in general, and with these I hope to provide the most impressive and bigger-than-life experience to the collectors and establishments who own my pieces.

It stands tall at 70 x 240 cm (27″ x 94″).

OCD

Watercolor painting titled "OCD", by artist Liron Yanconsky. The scene features an interior luxury restaurant scene, with many cooks and the chef working on plating dishes. The painting was sold to an affluent collector.

OCD is one of those rare cases where the stars align, the subject matter is perfect and my immersion into the painting project is complete.

This painting has found its way into a wonderful private collection, and with it, interior scenes have become a regular staple of my work.

IMPERIAL BAR II

Large watercolor painting "Imperial Bar II", painted by artist Liron Yanconsky. It features a highly detailed bar shelves scene, featuring many bottles in a variety of colors and designs.

My most ambitious painting when it comes to details.

I have carefully crafted each and every bottle’s lable, glass structure, cap and reflections on the back surface. This was done using multiple meticulously applied layers of paint.

Another important element of the scene is the strong feeling of backlight shining through the bottles, which I am proud to have achieved successfully here.
